Steven Sherwin, MD was born and raised on Long Island, NY. He attended
Temple Sinai of Roslyn, had his Bar Mitzvah there and as an adult he was on
the Board of Trustees and is still an active member there. Dr. Sherwin attended
New York University and received his Bachelors of Science. He then went to
University of North Carolina Medical School and did his Residency in Obstetrics
and Gynecology at New York University- Bellevue Hospital. Dr. Sherwin then
joined his father in private practice in Garden City, NY and is an attending at both
Winthrop University Hospital and North Shore University Hospital-Manhasset. He
studied under the auspices of the Hebrew Union College and became a Mohel
in 1998. Between his private practice and being a Mohel he has done over 4000
